Quarterly Surplus Parts Return Guidelines

Guidelines

1. Each line item must have a quantitative value of $25.00 or more.
   
   Example:  A 9X7735 has a TEPS Net value of $3.05, there must be a quantity of 9 to qualify for a return.
   
   
2. Parts sold in sealed packages (seal kits, gasket kits, etc.) are non-returnable if the seals are broken.
   
3. Parts must be new, unused, uninstalled, and in a resaleable condition in order to be considered for credit.
   
   
4. All parts will be credited at TEPS Net, less 5% stock order discount.
   
   
5. To accurately process your return, we ask that a list of all parts be sent to Holt for review.
   
   
6. Dates for RETURNS (All list must be given to TEPS Coordinators)





1st qtr	Week of:  February 16th	(list due Feb. 4th)
2nd qtr	Week of:  May 11th	(list due May 5th)
3rd qtr	Week of:  August 9th	(list due Aug. 4th)
4th qtr	Week of:  October 19th	(list due Oct. 13th)

GENERAL RETURN GUIDELINES (Non-Surplus Returns)

Guidelines / Restocking Fees

Parts that are customer resaleable (Like New) will be assessed an additional (5% restocking charge)

Opened electrical parts that are customer resaleable will be assessed an additional (5% restocking charge)

Opened gasket or seal kits that are customer resaleable will be assessed an additional (15% restocking charge)

Assuming the returned parts are customer resaleable, the following additional charges will be added accordingly to the above charges:

 

* Fast moving / Holt stocked	5%
* Fast moving / Holt non-stocked	10%
*Medium moving / Holt stocked	10%
*Medium moving / Holt non-stocked	15%
*Slow moving / Holt stocked	15%
*Slow moving / Holt non-stocked	20%


NOTE** Fast, Medium, and Slow moving status is found in the Caterpillar Numerical Parts Record (NPR.)  All parts returned will be subject to inspection and acceptance by Holt Power Systems. ** The return guidelines above are for Truck Parts ONLY.  All Caterpillar Parts, other than Cat Truck Engine Parts, will be credited as per walk in customer return guidelines.
