Scheduled Maintenance Programs:  Customer Support Agreements (CSA)

A CSA is any arrangement between you and your Cat Dealer that helps you lower your cost per unit of production. Agreements are tailored to fit your business needs and can range from simple Preventive Maintenance Kits to sophisticated Total Cost Performance Guarantees. When you have HOLT® Scheduled Maintenance (also known as a Customer Support Agreement, or CSA), you can be sure that your generator sets and electrical components are being serviced using Caterpillar's® manufacturing standards, which are some of the industry’s highest standards. They are your guarantee of continued high quality performance and longer equipment life.

Preventive Maintenance Level 1 (Recommended Quarterly)

Visually inspect unit Clean Unit Check: Cooling system Fuel system Air induction andexhaust system Lube system, oil level and crankcase breather Starter systems and tighten connections Engine monitors and safety controls Control panel, start controls, ammeter and frequency meter

Preventive Maintenance Level 2 (Recommended Annually)

Replace fuel filter Change oil and filter, obtain oil sample Inspect turbocharger Lubricate generator rear bearings Adjust vibration isolators Check Control panel circuit breakers

Preventive Maintenance Level 3 (Recommended Every 3 Years)

Drain, flush and replace hoses and coolant Replace: Fan belts Battery (lead acid type only) Alternator belt Air filter

Extended Service Agreements (ESC)

Power System Extended Service Coverage (ESC) offers coverage beyond the Standard Warranty period and, because it is transferable, it may increase the resale value of your Cat® truck, marine vessel, or generator set. ESC offers protection against unexpected repair bills and a hedge against rising parts and labor costs by providing 100 percent parts and labor reimbursement for covered components, less any applicable deductible.

Engine Rebuilds and Swing Engines

A CAT® engine is the best investment in value and productivity you can make, but when the equipment begins to tire, our rebuild programs can deliver a cost effective second life. Engine rebuild programs allow you to transform your equipment from tired to like-new, restoring its original productivity—programs unique to Cat equipment.

HOLT’s rebuild programs will meet your engine’s needs, whether it’s before or after failure,. The Cat certified rebuild program incorporates the very latest technology and critical engineering updates into your machine at a fraction of the cost of buying new. A HOLT CAT custom rebuild includes many of the same upgrades as a Cat certified rebuild but provides the flexibility to be customized to meet your specific needs.

Rebuilt engines are built to original emissions ratings and will include all critical engineering updates for longer life and improved fuel consumption. Replacement engines are dyno tested to help ensure same-as-new performance at a fraction of new price. Engines come fully assembled and ready to install, minimizing downtime and cost and are backed by solid warranty protection.
